What is a Heinz?

A Heinz is a full-cover bet on six selections, combined into 57 bets: 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and 1 six-fold — famously named after the "57 varieties" slogan. There are no singles, so you need at least two winners for a return.

It's the no-singles version of a Lucky 63, and the six-selection step up from the Yankee (4) and Canadian (5). With 57 bets, a small unit stake is the norm.

Worked example

Six selections, all at odds of 3.00, with a €1 unit stake (€57 total). If all six win:

  • Doubles €135 + trebles €540 + four-folds €1,215 + five-folds €1,458 + six-fold €729
  • Total return = €4,077, a €4,020 profit on your €57 stake.

Settle any losers with the Won/Lost toggle and the calculator updates the surviving combinations instantly.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Heinz bet?
A Heinz is a full-cover bet on six selections combining into 57 bets: 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, 6 five-folds and 1 six-fold. It has no singles, so you need at least two winners for a return. It is named after the "57 varieties" slogan.
How many bets are in a Heinz?
57 bets. A EUR1 unit stake costs EUR57 in total, so most bettors use a small unit stake.
How many winners do I need in a Heinz?
At least two, because there are no singles. Returns grow quickly as more of the six selections win.
What is the difference between a Heinz and a Lucky 63?
Both use six selections. A Lucky 63 adds the 6 singles (63 bets) so one winner already pays. A Heinz has 57 bets (no singles) and needs two winners.
What is a Super Heinz?
A Super Heinz is the seven-selection version: 120 bets (21 doubles, 35 trebles, 35 four-folds, 21 five-folds, 7 six-folds and 1 seven-fold), again with no singles.
