What is a Lucky 15?

A Lucky 15 is a full-cover bet on four selections that combines them into 15 separate bets:

  • 4 singles (one on each selection)
  • 6 doubles (every pair)
  • 4 trebles (every trio)
  • 1 four-fold accumulator (all four)

Because it includes the singles, just one winner already returns money — unlike a straight four-fold, where one loser kills the whole bet. That safety net is why the Lucky 15 is one of the most popular multiples in UK and Irish betting, especially on horse racing.

How to use the calculator

1

Enter four odds

The decimal odds for each selection.

2

Set your unit stake

Total outlay is 15 × your unit stake.

3

Settle the result

Tap Won / Lost on each pick.

4

Read your returns

Total stake, return and profit.

Worked example

Four selections, all at odds of 3.00, with a €1 unit stake (€15 total). If all four win:

  • 4 singles × €3 = €12
  • 6 doubles × €9 = €54
  • 4 trebles × €27 = €108
  • 1 four-fold × €81 = €81
  • Total return = €255, for a €240 profit on your €15 stake.

Now tap one selection to Lost and watch it drop: with three winners you still collect on the singles, the doubles and trebles between them — the calculator recalculates instantly.

Lucky 15, Lucky 31 and Lucky 63

The "Lucky" family scales with the number of selections, always including the singles:

  • Lucky 15 — 4 selections, 15 bets
  • Lucky 31 — 5 selections, 31 bets
  • Lucky 63 — 6 selections, 63 bets

Switch the bet type in the calculator above to price any of them — along with Yankees, Trixies, Patents, Heinz, Goliaths and straight accumulators. Working a bookmaker offer instead? See the matched betting calculator, and to size any single bet's return use the odds payout calculator.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Lucky 15 bet?
A Lucky 15 is a bet on four selections that combines into 15 separate bets: 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and 1 four-fold accumulator. Because it includes singles, just one winning selection already returns something.
How many bets are in a Lucky 15?
15 bets. That is why a EUR1 unit stake costs EUR15 in total (15 x EUR1). Each of the 15 combinations is a separate bet.
How much does a Lucky 15 cost?
Your unit stake multiplied by 15. A EUR0.50 Lucky 15 costs EUR7.50; a EUR2 Lucky 15 costs EUR30. The calculator shows the total stake as soon as you enter your unit stake.
Do you need all four to win?
No. Because a Lucky 15 includes the four singles, one winning selection already returns money. The more that win, the more the doubles, trebles and four-fold pay out on top.
What are Lucky 15 bonuses?
Many bookmakers add bonuses: often double the odds if only one selection wins, and a percentage bonus (commonly 10%) if all four win. These vary by bookmaker, so check your specific terms - this calculator shows the base returns before any bonus.
What is the difference between a Lucky 15 and a Yankee?
Both use four selections, but a Yankee has only 11 bets (6 doubles, 4 trebles, 1 four-fold) - no singles. A Lucky 15 adds the 4 singles, so it costs more but returns something from a single winner.
